The Very Concept Of Time (bell timer app)

After my preferred meditation timer website went down, I built my own. Use the "uncooltoast it" button to see my preferred set of timers. Still to do: implement a way for folks to save and fetch their own preferred set. RIP, mindfulness.site.

I built that integration with the epic system -- including working with epic stakeholders to design the bespoke API for ambient nursing :) nursing care plan and patient education headers over UI showing part of a care plan for a patient who wants to be able to walk to the kitchen without getting out of breath. I built that prototype feature!

Cloud Technology 102 (Weather app)

Hobby project inspired by the 100 days of CSS challenge -- specifically, inspired by day 9. I wanted to make a little widget that shows the current state of Seattle's weather. Note that you will always get the Seattle skyline but aren't actually stuck with our weather. Optimized for a 400x400 display.

Developed a feature that surfaced the most important next calendar event at the top of a user's email inbox, saving time for millions of daily active users by reducing the need to navigate away from OWA Mail module by 5%. The very first Ada assignment -- given before we even started. I think we were supposed to do the sun and earth. I went a little overboard, drawing up the base solar system including many of the larger moons.

Please do not take this model as a recommendation for how to arrange your planetary systems. I am not an astrophysicist. If you keep your planets this close to each other or to your plasma spheroid, shenanigans. Many shenanigans. Crash, bang, very crispy.

First ever coding project: Set clone

My first ever coding project! Built during my downtime between calls while working in a call center. It's a more color-blind-friendly version of the Set game. You can spam the hint button to auto play the entire game. View source to see my MS Excel-inspired deeply nested if statement-based code 😂

Hitchhiked over 1300 km across Europe and Turkey

While bouncing around between different volunteer roles at animal rescue centers, farms, and hostels, hitchhiked over 1,300 kilometers. Fethiye, Turkey and Berlin, Germany were my favorite locations by far -- not for hitchhiking, just for the people and sights and food. Loved meeting all the new people! Did not love most of the odd jobs I tried.
